Logitech MX Creative Console: enhance your creativity

We are in an era of great change, where research has now completely focused on a process of simplification and automation, commonly referred to by the acronym AI. What could be better than purchasing a powerful computer that “automatically” solves all our work and creative needs?

If we limit ourselves to our field, that of photography, various software programs are benefiting from features that, in their ambition for simplification, limit or even exclude human intervention. This inevitably leads to the question: what does it mean to be creative if the software does most of the work?

Logitech has wisely chosen to go in the opposite direction. It was only natural after the acquisition of Loupedeck; people and their creativity are once again at the center with the MX Creative Console, a highly useful tool designed to simplify and enhance creative work, combined with an elegant design in line with the MX segment.

The MX Creative Console consists of a dial pad and a keypad, two entirely analog controllers that allow for adjustments with a simple touch and a level of precision that makes every movement fluid and natural. For those working with Adobe’s Creative Suite programs, such as Photoshop or Premiere Pro, the console offers a focused user experience without distractions from constant adjustments. Although it doesn’t add much practically compared to shortcuts, the MX Creative Console is more immediate. The difference is all in the time dedicated to work, which Logitech estimates to be five times more in digital content growth and 2.3 times in the creative process.

What further enhances this tool’s versatility is its customization capability. You can create tailored profiles for each application, adapting the keypad layout to your needs. With a simple drag-and-drop, you can configure keys, actions, and icons based on the software used, maximizing the user experience. Each software has specific tools: Photoshop is different from Lightroom, just as Premiere is from Illustrator or Audition. The concept is that switching between tools is radically simplified; for instance, in Lightroom, you can configure the keypad to call up the action ring, composed of tools from the basic panel. If you want to adjust the temperature or highlights, you simply select the option with a click and then operate with the dial pad.

The console also integrates with a wide range of applications, from Microsoft Teams to Spotify. The Logi Options+ app further enriches this experience with a marketplace, where you can find new plugins and tools.

The MX Creative Console, integrating with Logitech’s range of keyboards and mice, is an essential product for those looking to expand their creative experience through a combination of speed, precision, and ease of use.
